The new exhibition at the Viidum\u00e4e Nature Reserve in Saaremaa is significant \u2014 a special architectural form and a 20-meter-long panel invite you to explore one of the oldest nature reserves in Estonia. The special natural site is located on the edge of a coastal escarpment. About 10,000 years ago, freshwater Lake Ants\u00fclusj\u00e4rv was located on Viidum\u00e4e, and today, the escarpment broken by the water flows of the former lake can be seen on Viidum\u00e4e. The biodiversity of Viidum\u00e4e is based on its diverse relief \u2014 there are over 750 species of vascular plants alone in the area, including rarities from different climate periods and world map. In the damp, shady forests and right here on Audaku, ivy \u2014 the emblematic plant of Viidum\u00e4e \u2014 climbs tree trunks. In the last century, a completely new species of Saaremaa robirhoi was discovered here, which has remained the rarest plant in all of Estonia to this day.<\/p>\n
The new outdoor exhibition was commissioned by RMK with the help of Pult: architecture LUMIA, graphic design and sound box of the panel, and the boards for the study trails and heritage cultural trail were designed by Pult.<\/p>\n
